Sunday, January 16, 2005 ::: slept till late still too vivid some days ago I woke up from a terrible dream in which I see people whom I respect (perhaps too blindly) suddenly turn their faces become nasty realizing too well that I'm still not willing to let go of my ego waking up late followed by a peaceful morning at the church is already such a blessing visited the little baby girl who's already 15 months now she greeted us at the door she's not got much hair and obvious has grown a lot bigger she's doing all sort of things that she couldn't do back then - walking on her own, talking a lot, responding to questions yet she's so sweet - her first reaction was giving me a wink - such perfect greeting during the 2 hour stay at the Ng family this baby girl never stopped pointing at things and talking baby talk her eagerness in sharing her treasures with me (including her diapers) and explaining her familiar surroundings was amazing nobody knows what she's talking about, but she's one smart caring baby, this one we all know for sure isn't it a wonder such cliche and old talk, but that's not even an overstatement because life itself is the greatest wonder of all holding her in my arms, I remember how my brother used to be small I was small too. dinner with ste admiring this totally different kind of life is this something I have to miss? is it real give and take? be happy with status quo. perhaps this is the only answer I need. like a glimmer of good in a bad man's eyes compliment or mortification? that's nothing noble though, either way the dark side of human nature always complementing the good. finally going out to LKF with the whole CM gang "purpose of life is to find out its purpose" since when we became so philosophical?
